WORKSHOP\"\"<\/a><\/h2>\n

In this workshop series, we explore the intersection of text\/language and body\/space. We work with texts whose language carries a strong physical presence, using them as choreographic material and as impulses for movement, embodiment, and the development of choreographic structures.<\/p>\n

The workshop is conceived as a space for experimentation. We investigate how a text is transferred to the body when we hear it, and how this physical resonance changes when we speak the words ourselves. We explore what remains when the text is no longer present as language but continues to resonate as a memory in the space, and how the body can carry and retell its content.<\/p>\n

Working with prose, poetry, and drama \u2014 including texts by Kathy Acker, Rainald Goetz, Elfriede Jelinek, and Ocean Vuong \u2014 we experiment with spoken language, choral structures, and shifting voices. We ask where and when words become physically perceptible, when an impulse to move emerges, and how language shapes movement.<\/p>\n

The aim is to develop choreographic material that does not simply illustrate the text, but translates its themes, rhythms, and physical qualities into an independent bodily form.<\/p>\n

The workshop series is aimed at professional dancers and performers.<\/p>\n

CLASSICAL TRAINING<\/h2>\n

The training combines classical technique with a calm and conscious approach to movement. The focus is on mobility, skeletal structure, musicality, and a neutral movement quality. The work encourages body awareness, clarity and precision, while leaving space for individual needs and different physical conditions.<\/p>\n

Elements of the Feldenkrais Method inform and expand the classical work. Vasna Aguilar is currently completing the four-year Feldenkrais training program in Paris 14, whose principles influence her approach to teaching and movement. Her training experience includes teaching at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, DOCK 11, University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Schauspiel Wuppertal, Center of Dance Berlin, and Dance Company Osnabr\u00fcck.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
