Her practice embraces experimentation and interdisciplinary exploration, constantly questioning traditional forms and discovering new possibilities. Her trajectory is defined by movement between artistic, geographical and cultural contexts. Bilingual and regularly connected to Mexico through family ties, she operates from an \u201cin-between\u201d position across cultures and languages, informing her interest in connection as an artistic principle.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Her choreographic language developed through early collaborations with theatre ensembles, opening her practice toward text as an important element in the process. Text becomes a motor for choreographic research and a source for movement and composition.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">She studied classical dance at the Hamburg Ballet School John Neumeier and contemporary dance at Codarts University of the Arts. Since then, she has worked internationally in both institutional theaters and the independent scene, collaborating with artists such as Ersan Mondtag, Gustavo Gomes, Henri H\u00fcster, Shang Chi Sun, Alina Rentsch, Thomas Noone, Olivier Py, Georg Reischl, Felix Hafner, Mauro de Candia, Heidi Vierthaler, Susanne Linke, Andre Mesquita, Ruben Reniers. <\/span>As a choreographer she has worked with the ensembles of the dance Company Osnabr\u00fcck, Schauspiel Wuppertal, Vereinigte B\u00fchnen Bozen, B\u00fchnen Bern, Landestheater Innsbruck, among others. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Photo \u00a9 Valentin Bourdiol<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vasna Aguilar in a Swiss &#8211; Mexican performing artist and choreographer.
