Vasna Aguilar was born in Bern, Switzerland. She completed her education at the Hamburg Balletschool John Neumeier where she received her Diploma as a classical dancer. During her studies in Hamburg she was awarded with the Migros Scholarship Prize during three years. Her education was also supported by the swiss Foundation Hélène & Marcel Perincioli-Jörns. She then went on to attend the University of the Arts Codarts in Rotterdam and received her Bachelor of contemporary dance. As a professional dancer she works for Companies such as , TLT Tanz Luzerner Theater , Deutsche Oper Berlin , Dance Company Osnabrück , Thomas Noone Dance , Damotus and others . She has the pleasure to work with choreographers such as , Shang – Chi Sun , Georg Reischl , Olivier Py , Mauro de Candia , Susanne Linke , Kinsun Chan , Gustavo Gomes , Heidi Vierthaler and others

Her first choreographical attempts start to become visibile within the frame of the young choreographers format “Open Windows” during her time as a company member of the Dance Company Osnabrück . In 2015 her creation “Guy standing in a field – lights on him”  gets invited to Fresh Festival by Jan Pusch. In the same year she meets German Theater Director Henri Hüster , with whom she continuously keeps developing and surching for forms of theater between drama and dance. See WORKS
